Curriculum

Sadler Arts Academy is responsible for the same curriculum as all other public schools in Oklahoma. However, all content areas (reading, math, language, science, and social studies) are taught through the arts. In addition, students cycle through the school's special arts learning labs: dance and creative movement, visual arts, and vocal music.

The innovative arts-infused curriculum at Sadler Arts Academy nurtures and challenges the whole child-nourishing the intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and artisitic development of each scholar. Sadler students achieve academic excellence as they develop an enduring adoration of learning.

Through music, art, theatre, and creative movement, our award-winning teachers make classroom learning come alive. The schools highly trained arts specialists provide concentrated instruction in drama and music, fine art, and dance. The arts specialists also collaborate with the classroom teachers to integrate arts into the core curriculum, resulting in flexible and creative thinkers, ready to build a better citizenry through their arts education.
